In 1997 I continued my career as a free-lance designer servicing corporate clientele. The scope of my work is multimedia and Internet producer. Projects have included design and implementation of web sites (HTML & DHTML), designing and producing 3D models and animation for video and CD presentations, design and production of interactive CD-ROM presentations, and implementing RealVideo, utilizing SMIL to integrate Flash and interaction in the Real G2 Player on the internet. Working primarily as a subcontractor, projects were produced for clients such as: Columbia Tri/Star, The Smithsonian Institution, Johnson & Johnson, Xylan Network Systems (now Alcatel) and many more.

As Director of Creative Services I played a vital roll in the growth of this multimedia/Internet company. I designed and produced all marketing and advertising media delivered on CD-ROM, print and the Internet. This  included designing  trade show graphics, collaborating with photographers, advertising placement, and prepress functions. As a part of the multimedia industry, I worked extensively with the Media 100 non-linear video editing system, editing video clips and preparing them for inclusion on CD-ROM and the Internet. This included mastery of Cosa/Adobe AfterEffects,  Debablizer, Director and  Adobe Premier.

My duties went beyond the scope of my title and job description. I was, on a regular basis, dealing with customer service and sales issues, and training and managing my fellow employees in the use of specialized equipment such as the Kodak PhotoCD Imaging Workstation (PIW). I possess extensive knowledge of Macintosh and PC networking, and I participated in setup of the WindowNT network.

Art Director in the computer aided graphic design and production of all paper collateral. I produced and placed advertising, and designed and produced  the company's 200-page black and white product catalog with full color cover. I also designed and produced several merchandising items (tee shirts, postcards, mugs, stickers, etc.).
